Your Life, On Paper

Your Life, On Paper ✦

San Diego Calligraphy

There’s something about ink on paper.

In this digital world, it’s something physical. Permanent. A reminder of where you’ve been, what you’ve done, and who you’ve loved.

Putting ink on paper transforms a joke amongst friends into an extraordinary gesture. Calligraphy letters loop together, just like your life intertwines with those you send beautifully-addressed envelopes to. The paper soaks up more than just ink, but your memories.

I’m more than just a calligrapher — I’m a biographer. And it’s time to tell your story.

Meet the Calligrapher

I’m Afshawn — the San Diego calligraphy artist at the coffee shop with a honey cinnamon latte, ink-stained fingers, and her nose buried in Harry Potter (again). Call me old fashioned, but I believe in the power of paper. It’s something physical in this digital world, and it helps us connect to a person or event no matter how many miles between us or how many years have passed.

“If I could give Afshawn more than a 5 star rating, I totally would. Since our first interaction by phone and email she made me feel so at ease. She brought my vision to life with her beautiful work.”

Let’s Elevate the Everyday

Whether they happen on a milestone occasion or an ordinary Tuesday, your life’s special moments deserve to be commemorated. It would be my honor to put your memories on paper.
