I’m Afshawn, and I’m a people person. That’s why I love on-site live calligraphy events — I get to wash the ink stains off my hands, swap my artist's smock for a nice outfit, and connect with others. Plus, I love the inevitable oohs and aahs as guests watch me turn a piece of paper into something way, way cooler, in just a few minutes. Based in San Diego, California, I work with businesses and brands through the wider San Diego area to elevate their events into luxury experiences.

The Process
You reach out and share details about your event. I’ll follow up to chat about the specifics so that I can send you over a price quote. Need advice on anything related to calligraphy? I got ideas.
After you sign the contract, I’ll have you send over any material samples so I can test out my tools in the studio to make sure that we’re all set for the big day.
On the day of, I’ll show up to your event with all my materials in tow ready to rock and roll. All I need from you is a suitable writing surface and a chair, and it’s show time baby!
