Meet the Postwoman ✦

I’m Afshawn, and I’m obsessed with snail mail. Yes, I’m a millennial, and yes, I’m tech-savvy, but text messages just don’t come with the same level of warm-and-fuzzies you get from receiving a letter in the mail. The only thing better than having that feeling is helping you send that feeling to your friends and family with my calligraphy envelope addressing.

While calligraphy addressing is wonderful for special occasions like weddings and events, it’s also the perfect touch to elevate everyday correspondence. My calligraphy envelope addressing service is perfect for:

- Wedding invitations
- Save-the-dates
- Shower invitations
- Graduation party invitations
- Retirement party invitations
- Dinner party invitations
- Baby announcements
- Moving announcements
- Holiday cards
- Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards
- Birthday cards

“Afshawn is incredible! She lettered our wedding invite envelopes as well as made liners for them. We couldn’t be happier with how she pulled everything together - her work took our invites to the next level of craft and quality, and was an valuable detail in our tight-budget wedding.”

— Jennifer M.

The Process

You reach out and, after we get a few logistical details down pat, receive a quote for your custom envelope order. You have questions? I have answers.

After you sign the contract and pay the deposit, we’ll chat and finalize details: ink and envelope colors, name formatting, postage, wax seals — the works.

I source the perfect ink, stamps and wax seals for your project. Meanwhile, you compile a list of names and addresses, and send ‘em my way. If we’re using your envelopes, you’ll send those to me, too.

Calligraphy time! I’ll get my pens dirty and send progress pics along the way. Once the ink is dry, you pick them up or I’ll ship your goodies to you. Get ready to receive some happy mail!

“When do I need to order?” Get answers to this question and more on the FAQ page.
